NDA (National Defence Academy) is the dignified part of Indian defence force that includes 3 uniformed services like the army, the Navy and the Air Force. The National Defence Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) board twice a year (NDA I & NDA II) to recruit eligible candidates into the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Forces. The National Defence Academy is the world’s 1st tri-service academy where the candidates belonging to all the 3 forces (Army, Navy, and Air force) are trained together. The Selection Process:
The Selection Procedure for NDA (National Defence Academy) is divided into three stages:
- First Stage: Written Examination (900 Marks)
- Second Stage: Personal Interview –SSB (900 Marks)
- Third Stage: Medical review by Command Hospital NDA 2018

The candidates who are qualified for written examination will be called to attend a personal interview at SSB centers assigned by SSC and then successful candidates will be eligible for Medical review. A personal interview will be scheduled for five days. The candidates will be shortlisted and made to do the task.
